Camp Newman (Swig), located in Saratoga, CA, is a project of the Union for Reform Judaism's (URJ) camping institute that provides a positive reinforcement for Jewish youth and their growth and development. The result is a creation of a Jewish living experience in a natural community setting.
As consultants to the children’s camp architects, Herman and Coliver Architecture, L+A provided consultant services which included an overall analysis of the camp’s accessibility requirements, a preliminary survey of the existing camp facilities, and a report with recommendations for providing accessibility.
The survey and recommendations focused on the paths of travel to and the entrances and restrooms of The Dining Hall, Infirmary, Main Multi-Purpose, Administration, and Lodge Buildings. |
