Services included reviewing Herman, Coliver, Locus Architecture’s design of an addition housing an elevator, replacement of several windows with doors, and repair of deteriorated windows in the Temple Beth Abraham synagogue which is an historic resource in Oakland CA.

After attending a site visit and reviewing proposed designs, recommendations for revising the design based on the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation were made and an evaluation letter for the Preservation Planners in the Oakland Planning Department was produced. The report was accepted and the construction completed.
